ROCKS Kongen af Solr\u00f8d \u2013 a classic with liquorice in its blood<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Kongen af Solr\u00f8d<\/strong> is our own new interpretation of the classic Kongen af Danmark candy.<\/p>\n

We've taken the familiar, sweet flavour of anise and given it a Solr\u00f8d twist with liquorice granules<\/strong>, adding extra depth and liquorice character.<\/p>\n

The result is a candy that feels familiar \u2013 yet has a flavour all its own.<\/p>\n

A true local king.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inspired by a Danish candy classic<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The classic red anise candies have been known and loved for generations.<\/p>\n

With Kongen af Solr\u00f8d, we haven't tried to copy the classic.<\/p>\n

Instead, we've taken the familiar flavour of anise and asked ourselves:<\/p>\n

What happens if we give the king a little liquorice?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The answer was Kongen af Solr\u00f8d.<\/p>\n

A red anise candy with liquorice granules and a character all its own.<\/p>\n

Sweet anise meets liquorice<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The anise oil gives the candy the characteristic, aromatic flavour associated with classic red anise candy.<\/p>\n

But then comes the liquorice.<\/p>\n

The liquorice granules add depth and give the sweet anise flavour a darker contrast.<\/p>\n

This means that Kongen af Solr\u00f8d still has the familiar flavour of anise \u2013 but with a distinct touch of liquorice.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And that's exactly what makes our king unique.<\/p>\n

Liquorice granules add extra character<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Instead of simply letting the anise stand alone, we've added liquorice granules.<\/p>\n
