Liquorice Syrup – Sweet

Liquorice Syrup Sweet – liquid liquorice for sweet dishes

If you love liquorice, there are almost no limits to what you can use our Liquorice Syrup – Sweet for.

A sweet and rich liquorice syrup with raw liquorice that makes it easy to add the characteristic liquorice flavour to everything from ice cream and desserts to coffee, drinks and baking.

Drizzle a little over vanilla ice cream. Add it to your coffee. Use it in a dessert. Or come up with something completely different.

It's liquorice in a bottle – ready to play with.

Sweet liquorice syrup with raw liquorice

It's the raw liquorice that gives the syrup its characteristic liquorice flavour.

The sweetness comes from sugar and brown sugar, among other things, which together with the raw liquorice create a smooth and rich syrup.

This makes Sweet ideal when you want to add liquorice to something sweet without having to work with liquorice powder first.

A little can add plenty of character.

And if you really love liquorice, you probably already know what happens to that little amount. 😉

Liquorice syrup on vanilla ice cream

We'll start with the easy one.

Vanilla ice cream and liquorice syrup.

The sweet and creamy vanilla ice cream is a really good contrast to the deeper liquorice flavour.

Drizzle Liquorice Syrup Sweet over the ice cream just before serving, and an ordinary bowl of vanilla ice cream suddenly becomes a little more interesting.

You can also use it on other desserts when you want to add both sweetness and liquorice character.

Liquorice in your coffee

Yes – liquorice and coffee can definitely be friends.

Try a small amount of Liquorice Syrup Sweet in your coffee, café latte or cappuccino.

Coffee already has plenty of deep and roasted flavour notes that can work really well with liquorice.

Start with a little and adjust to taste.

It may not be how you usually drink your coffee.

But perhaps it could be.

For desserts and baking

The liquorice syrup is also ideal when you want to experiment with desserts and baking.

Use it, for example, as a flavouring or as a little touch of liquorice when serving.

It works really well with flavours such as:

  • Chocolate
  • Vanilla
  • Caramel
  • Raspberry
  • Strawberry
  • Lemon
  • Coffee

That's exactly what's so interesting about liquorice: it can both take centre stage and be used as a subtle flavour together with other ingredients.

Liquorice syrup in drinks

Liquorice syrup certainly doesn't have to be reserved for the dessert table.

Liquorice Syrup Sweet can also be used in drinks, where it adds both sweetness and the characteristic liquorice flavour.

Experiment with the flavours you normally use in your drinks.

The syrup makes it easy to add the liquorice flavour a little at a time, so you can decide for yourself how much liquorice you want in your glass.

Also for savoury dishes

Even though it's called Sweet, it doesn't have to be used only for sweet treats.

The liquorice syrup can also be used as a flavour enhancer in cookingwhen you want to add a little sweetness and liquorice character to a dish.

It's all about experimenting and using small amounts.

After all, liquorice doesn't always have to be candy.

In the kitchen? Experiment and see what works.

You decide whether the liquorice should be the star or simply that little detail that makes other people ask:

“What did you put in this?”

For the liquorice lover who likes to experiment

Keep it ready in the kitchen for when a dessert needs that finishing touch, when your coffee needs a little something extra, or when you get an idea that simply has to be tried.

Because perhaps all that's missing is a little liquid liquorice..
